Question: Casper, last month your Gift List included Kennel Sponsorships? Can you expand on these?

Answer: Sure. If you and your family are looking for a way to honor the love for a pet that shares your life or added much in the past, consider the family giving the gift of "Kennel Sponsorship". Sponsorship of a CARE dog or cat kennel makes a great gift to CARE and for you and your pet. Not only are the Kennel Sponsorships a significant gift to the completion of the Adoption Center, read below to see how they give advantages for years to the dogs and cats abilities to find homes. I have sponsored a kennel and so has FurBall. Our names will appear on two cat kennels when the Adoption Center opens.

CARE TIMES: Casper, What will yours and FurBall's say?
Well, this is subject to change, yet CARE currently has the following request for our two sponsored kennel plates. This is what those I live with have asked be on the kennel id plates. Imagine what yours might say. You don't need to decide on the wording to sponsor a kennel, CARE will contact you later, so you will have time after sponsorship to come up with words.

"Casper Van Goughst, for
all you add to my life"

"FurBall for the kindness
& gentleness you teach"

CARE TIMES: What are the Kennel Sponsorships for?
Kennel Sponsorships are at the $500 dollar level. They help CARE upgrade the dog kennels and cat kennels. This allows CARE to purchase and use higher grade materials, improving the care of the animals at the adoption center when it opens.

CARE TIMES: How does that help the dogs and cats?
Better materials means things like quieter guillotine doors for dog kennels, or stainless steel cat kennels. These types of upgrades help in multiple ways.

  • HAPPY PETS The time the pet stays with CARE should be more pleasant, reducing stress on the pet.

  • CLEAN AREA  Additionally, better materials mean a cleaner environment for the pet.

  • HAPPY VOLUNTEERS Higher quality material means that it would be easier for Volunteers to clean for the pets. This will help CARE retain Volunteers to help the pets.

  • HEALTHIER PETS Higher quality materials provide the ability to use products that help kill bacteria, parasite eggs, and some viruses in the kennels further reducing the chances to spread these to other pets. This last item is vital to keeping the pets healthy.

  • SHORTER STAYS By reducing the chance for illness and increasing the overall well being of the pets, the average length of their stay will be shorter. There will be less chance that they will need to be pulled from public view and placed into quarantine. They will be happier in their cleaner environment.

  • MORE ADOPTIONS All of the items above translate into happier, healthier pets in a better environment. You can see how these items are vital to getting the pet into the right home sooner. The public prefers to visit groups that have a reputation for happy, healthy pets in a clean environment with happy, helpful, knowledgeable folks to show the pets. The shorter the average stay for the dogs and cats, the more empty kennels to help other deserving animals.

Kennel Level Sponsorships help give the pets the best opportunities. Many more Kennel Sponsorships are needed for this program to work.

Sponsor a dog or cat kennel in your or your pet's name at the new adoption center for a gift that gives through the years.
