Chico here. Thanks for helping out the cats and dogs and other deserving members of the community. We all owe a lot to Dr. Joe Cortese, who we lost last year. So leaders in the Capistrano Animal Rescue Effort and the San Juan Capistrano Rotary Club decided to dedicate the first Poker Run to a fellow we knew as “Dr. Fleas,” a founding member in CARE and active Rotarian. |
Motorcycle Poker Run

It works like this. We shine up the machines and go have fun while helping CARE pay for much needed medications, microchips, spay/neuter, and emergency surgeries and the Rotary fund their projects. It's easy, especially with this online registration. We start at Mission MotorSports in the Irvine Spectrum, and make several stops before arriving in San Juan Capistrano Community Center/Sports Park. Not only do we get to show our hands for cash prizes, we get free entrance into the 7th Annual CARe SHOW. This fun event has shaped up to be one of the best mid sized car shows in Orange County. Come howl with the live bands, enjoy a Ruby's lunch and sniff around the goodie tables. The folks at Mission MotorSports and our other sponsors are a good bunch of folks for helping out, so bring a friend too. You can use the "Share This Event" link at the top of the online registration page and bring the whole pack and make a fun day of it. You can have your well-behaved four legged friend bring their leash and join you at the CARe SHOW.
